Farber Energy Design has been providing building energy analysis consulting services since 1991.  Gary Farber, the principal, has been involved professionally with the Title 24 building energy standards since their inception in 1978.



Farber Energy Design's in-house capabilities include modeling and energy code documentation for any type of building project, including new commercial, residential, institutional, industrial and mixed-use buildings of any size, as well as nonresidential and residential building alterations and additions. 


Our services include envelope, mechanical and lighting systems energy code compliance, analysis and documentation for LEED, Green Point Rated, HPI, utility rebates, energy-efficient design consulting, and energy-related economic analyses of various architectural and building system design strategies.


Farber Energy Design can perform every state-authorized method of Title-24 compliance (performance and prescriptive approaches) for both residential and nonresidential projects.  Our rates are very competitive.



Gary Farber, the principal, possesses a B. Architecture degree from the Southern California Institute of Architecture.  Mr. Farber is a member of, and past board member of, the California Association of Building Energy Consultants - CABEC .
